Widely grown across the Eastern US, this chestnut tree combines the best of two different varieties of American and Chinese Chestnut. A chance discovery in the 1940s, this Chestnut is both blight resistant and cold tolerant. We recommend planting at least 3 Chestnuts for vigor and intense cross pollination produces the best chestnuts.
