True to form, the Frostbite apple is extremely cold hardy; down to Zone 3. It is a squat, bright red apple that is deliciously sweet and juicy. Often compared to sugarcane or molasses, kids love this apple. It can be dried or canned for longer storage but generally lasts for 3 months once picked. Fruit is smaller and bright red.
