Tricolor Beech

Truly a magnificent tree among a family of magnificent trees. This Beech's leaves are variegated with three colors- most common pink, green, and white. More shade tolerant then other Beech species, this is more of an understory tree that does well in the shadow of other, larger trees. Perfect for landscaping, this tree adds color all year, turning a pinkish bronze color in the fall. The bark is smooth and a pale white- a characteristic shared by other Beeches.
