Northern Red Maples
A common sight across the Midwest- the Red Maple has that classic maple shape with the iconic maple leaf. It can grow to nearly 70' tall and over 50' wide. Its extensive branch structure provides shade for plants, animal, and people below, as well as habitats for arboreal animals. It can grow in full sun or partial shade and, once establish, is drought tolerant. This low maintenance tree is easy to care for and easy to grow. In Autumn, it turns a saturated shade of red with garnet undertones.
