Strawberries
Strawberries are a low lying, almost ground covering plant that grows well in well drain, moist soil. Botanically speaking, the strawberry is not actually a fruit. However, this does not deter people from using it like any other berry. Strawberries are large, red, and sweet. Hardy to Zone 4, the strawberry does require some additional support to be easier to harvest. Because the fruit is far heavier than the foliage, strawberries should be planted on a little berm that allows the fruit to hang slightly below the foliage; making them easier to harvest.
