Apple Season Starter Bundle - 5 Trees

Apple season begins in full swing beginning in late summer continuing to late fall. Unsure as to what to plant but want to spread out your harvest? Each of these apples ripen at different times and all have different flavor profiles. For a full description of each apple, see their individual pages but we have included a brief description and approximate ripening date for each of these apples. Apples (and Pear) included in this pack: 

• Yellow Transparent- late July/early August. Yellow, subacid flavor. Great for applesauce 
• Sansa- Early September. Red with yellow base. Very sweet and crunchy. Good storer- we use them for caramel apples.
• Wolf River- Late September/ Early October. Massive apple- low juice makes for easy drying. Excellent baker.
• Granny Smith- Early November, very tart and crunchy. Also great baker and keeper. 
• GoldRush. Late Season dropper. Sweet and crispy. Notable disease resistance

The trees are on an M.106 or M.111 Rootstock and should be spaced at least 20-25' apart. We also recommend planting them in the order listed so as one tree ends flowering the next one begins. The effect is a graceful cascade of flowers and blooms in your yard.
