Also known as the Querina-Florina, this apple was created at the Station D’Arboriculture Fruitière at Beaucouze for the Institute National de la Recherche Agronomiquein in France in 1977. The French Institute developed this specific apple for its disease resistant qualities. That apple is round and medium sized and somewhat lopsided. Its skin is thicker with prominent lenticels similar to that of a Haralson with fine grained, sweet, creamy colored flesh.

Its parentage includes the ever present Golden Delicious and Jonathan and retains excellent qualities of both. It is resistant to Scab and powdery mildew. Its well balanced flavor comes from the Jonathan. The tree is a tip bearer and should be pruned to keep the tree contained as it is a robust grower.
