A dwarfing rootstock also known as Budagovsky 9 crossed from an M.8 x Red Standard (Krasnij Standard) in the Soviet Union. Slightly more dwarfing and with higher yields than M.9. Selected as surviver of massive fireblight outbreak as an outstanding disease resistant specimen. Very cold hardy. American growth patterns tend to be more upright. No idea why.
Rootstocks are about 18" long and are ¼" in caliper. Sold in packs of 5, 10 and 25.

Resistances: Resistant to fireblight that improves with age.
