Goldbar Apricot Trees

Like most apricot trees, the Goldbar produces large, light yellow to orange colored fruit that blush a light red in the early summer as the fruit matures. The apricot is generally large and round but can be either conical or slightly squished in shape depending on where the fruit is on the branch. Goldbars are heavy flowering trees yet set light amounts of fruit. They generally make great pollinators but do not require much thinning themselves. However, they need a pollinator partner- like Goldstrike of Goldcot, to produce fruit. The tree is generally tolerant of cold temperatures but the flowers open early and are susceptible to those late frosts.
