This apricot ripens slightly later than other apricot species hardy to zone 5. The fruit is light orange, oval shaped, and generally uniform in appearance. One might even say this fruit looks like the stereotypical apricot. The tree is vigorous and a heavy bloomer- producing more fruit buds than other apricot trees. So, thinning is required to grow properly sized apricots. And it will need a pollinator.
