These large, conical flowers are abundant across American homes and flower in the fall. The flowers often reach 8-10" high while the plant can get upwards of 8' high with proper growing conditions. The flowers mature in late August to early September and are a creamy pistachio in color. Hydrangeas enjoy partial shade to maintain the pistachio color and will turn a speckled pink color in sunlight. Hydrangeas love water so if there is a low spot or place that tends to collect moisture- these are the plants for you.
