Pie Cherry Trees
Most often grown in northern climates toward the center of the US, the Pie (or Tart) Cherry is popular for its baking and hardiness abilities. Hardy to Zone 4, the Pie Cherry can grow where other cherries cannot. Its popularity and health benefits make it an excellent addition to backyard. In Spring, the trees opens with stunning white blooms that are fragrant and long lasting. Use them as a cut floral item in when in landscaping. Because they are self fertile, only one tree is required to produce cherries.
