Chandler blueberries produce exceptionally large fruit—each berry is roughly the size of a nickel, with some approaching the size of a quarter. The berries are a delight to eat, offering the rich, classic flavor of wild blueberries in an impressively large form. For the best experience, we highly recommend enjoying them fresh from the bush to fully appreciate their mouth-watering sweetness.
Chandler ripens in the mid- to late-season, extending the harvest after many other varieties have finished producing. The harvest period lasts up to six weeks—approximately three weeks longer than most blueberry cultivars. As the season progresses, the berries become increasingly sugar-sweet. Once mature, plants can produce up to 15 pounds of fruit annually.
Chandler is a must-have variety for home gardeners.
