Hosui pears are consistent taste-test winners. The golden russeted skin has juicy, sweet, very flavorful flesh. Hosui is a best seller in Japan. This crisp and refreshing apple-like pear ripens early through late August but stores well through November. Growing to about the size of a golf ball (maybe slightly larger) the orb shaped fruit is russeted and golden brown. It is extremely juicy and stores well. This is Harrison's favorite pear. Bare Root trees will ship in Spring 2026.
