Manchurian Crabapple is a native of northern Asia. It is now grown worldwide as an ornamental and is often employed as an apple tree pollinator. It features clusters of very fragrant white flowers that cover the tree in late May. The edible fruit is red to yellow and measures about a centimeter across its mid-section.
