Its hardiness down to zone 4 makes this cherry popular in northern climates. It is start, smaller, bright red with a matte finish, and is disease resistant. Developed by the University of Minnesota, it is great for snaking and baking. If sour is your thing, this tree is for you. The tree also grows well as a dwarf and resistant to splitting. Watch out for birds- they love cherries!
