The Semi-Dwarf tree splits the difference between dwarf trees that produce quickly but need to be watered and staked and Standard trees that produce slowly but grow beyond the deer nibble zone. Semi-Dwarf trees are can grow between 13-20ish feet tall when fully grown but are easily kept to a more manageable size. Common Semi-Dwarf rootstocks include M.7 (the industry standard), G.969, G.890, B.118, and M.111. Here is a collection to start you off. These trees are in the Field Ready size.

Plant these trees no less than 15' but no more than 50' for best pollination.
As of July 20, 2025, we have ceased shipping bare root trees for the Spring 2025 Season. We will resume shipping bare root trees in November of 2025. We will assume all bare root trees order, unless otherwise stated in the product description, will ship in November. Please order accordingly.
