1850s Heirloom Apple from the Netherlands. Dessert and culinary apple that keeps its shape when cooked. Generally sharper in flavor with denser flesh makes a good crunch. Tree is spreading but upright and bears on spurs. Has notable resistance to Scab, Apple Canker, and Powdery mildew.
