An early harvester (as compared to the Concord) these grapes mature slightly unevenly but make for a lovely variation in taste. Also a darker purple variety, these grapes grow between medium and large clusters. Hardy to Zone 4, the Fredonia grape is primarily used for jams and jellies. Grape does contain seeds.
