A newer modern apple released in 2017 by the Midwest Apple Improvement Association (MAIA) with parentage of GoldRush and Sweet 16. Bred especially to be a low maintenance tree that can handle the wide weather variations of the Midwest. A wonderfully robust bearing tree with fruit ready to harvest early to mid-September depending on zone. Especially resistant to apple scab.
The apple is prized for its signature honey, and cinnamon flavor hints. The flesh is yellow and not prone to browning, with perfect crispness that is wonderful for both eating off the tree and baking.
