For a lengthy history and description of the Cortland Apple, please see its main apple page. This is the original strain of Cortland from the late 1800s~ the trees were planted in the 1910s and are 35' tall. Scionwood is ~10-12" long and ships in August or January-April.
As of May 1 we are no longer shipping scionwood. We will resume shipping in August. Please note that any scionwood orders placed after May 1, regardless of other items on your order, will ship in August.
