Shade Trees

While any tree is technically a shade tree, we consider a shade tree to be any tree that grows taller than 15'. These trees tower over smaller trees and bushes providing different ecosystems and protection from the sun. Many plants need partial shade to fully realize themselves and grow best in the undergrowth. These shade trees are bred to be fast growing, often reaching 3' of growth annually and shoot up toward the light. Not only do shade trees offer protection in Summer, they are usually deciduous and their leaves turn all sorts of colors in Autumn.
