This early ripening apple is fairly large, lift softball size, with juicy-tart flesh. Its defining feature is the red coloration from its dark skin into the upper layers of the apple. The flesh is generally yellow-cream in color with the outer fringes being a marble red color. Apple does not keep but does get darker as the apple stays on the tree. Given enough time- its a cool addition to change cider color to pink. The right apple in the second image is a Burgundy with slight coloration. It generally is redder than the image.
Scionwood is ~10-12" long, ¼" in caliper, and ships in August or January-April.
