This is a highbush cultivar with an upright, slightly spreading growth habit, reaching 5–7 feet in height. Plants are consistently high-yielding, producing approximately 10–20 pounds of fruit per mature bush.
The berries are small to medium in size, averaging about 75 berries per cup. Fruit quality is excellent, with very firm berries and no picking scar. Berries are light blue in color and develop a pleasant, mild flavor when fully ripe, though they remain quite tart until roughly 60% of the crop has matured. Harvesting can be done either by hand or mechanically. The cultivar is especially well suited for mechanical harvesting, as berries ripen uniformly, allowing 70–80% of the crop to be harvested in a single pass.
The fruit is suitable for both fresh market and processing. Because of its superior color and quality late in the season, this cultivar is particularly valuable for fresh-market sales. It also has strong ornamental appeal due to its upright form, bluish-green foliage, and late-blooming flowers. Fall foliage is orange-red and long-lasting.
