Flemish Beauty Pear
Created in Belgium in the beginning of the 18th century, this semi self-fertile pear matures in mid-July. Pears are often picked prior to ripen and allowed to ripen off the tree. These pears turn a pale yellow in early July and blush when facing sunward. The fruit is softer that other pears and is lightly sweet and fleshy.
