A vigorous dwarfing Rootstock. First crossed in 1993 in the New York State Ag Exp. Station with Malling 26 (M.26) and Robusta 5 crabapples. More similar to M.26. Moderately resistant to fire blight and moderately susceptible to woolly aphid and crown/root rot. Support required. Produces few to little burr knots and root suckers.
Rootstocks are about 18" long and are ¼" in caliper. Sold in packs of 5, 10 and 25.
