The Honeoye strawberry is a premier June-bearing variety celebrated for its exceptional winter hardiness and heavy yields. Developed by Cornell University in 1979, it has become a "gold standard" for northern gardeners because it can withstand harsh climates that other varieties cannot. The plant produces large, glossy, conical berries with a bold, classic flavor that balances sweetness with a refreshing tartness. Because the fruit is firm and maintains its deep red color all the way through—even after being frozen—it is widely considered the top choice for making jams, pies, and preserves.
Strawberry berries are sold in packs of 5, 10, or 25 plants.
