M.26 Rootstock

A vigorous dwarfing rootstock introduced in 1929 from the East Malling Research Station. 

Rootstocks are about 18" long and are ¼" in caliper. Sold in packs of 5, 10 and 25.

Final Height: 55-60% of Standard; ~12-14'

Resistances: Susceptible to Crown Rot and Fireblight

Suckering: High

Support Required

Precocity: Very early

Cold Hardiness: Hardy
