One of the oldest American pear cultivars, discovered as a chance seedling in PA, c. late 1700s. Known as the "sugar pear" it is light green and creamy in color, small - medium sized pear. Great for fresh eating or poaching, with crisp texture and intense, sweet, juicy, intense flavor when mature. Early season harvester. Resistant to Fire Blight. Ships Spring 2026.
